So many ideas...so little time...or space...or carpal tunnel

So if you've come here after the Facebook post, then congrats!  I appreciate all of my fans and all of the people who have enjoyed my story.  When I started the 6FFH series, the original three books were going to be just they way they are now - minus a few details.  I had no intention of making Joe or Dakota immune to the virus, but it fit in well with what I wanted to do with the rest of the story.  The original series was going to be Response, Escape, and Exile.  Exile was going to be when the group went to the Gulf Coast and then came back to the mainland to take back their homes and rescue more friends.  Some of the scenes that were going to allude to that were edited out by me.  I had more characters that I wanted to use and more stories to tell, but they will be told in short-story form instead.  The short stories will explain what happened to Abraham to make him the way he was, what happened to Larry and Kody after Response and a tale of some brave Navy Corpsmen, Coast Guard rescue swimmers, and Air Force Pararescuemen (PJ's).  Those short stories will be together in a Six Feet From Hell collection of short stories.  It is funny how random ideas come together to make such an interesting tale.  I may do more than one set of those stories, but I'm not sure yet.  There will be plenty to read in the coming year.  2014 promises to be jam-packed full of 6FFH goodness...and hopefully at least 2 sets of paperbacks.  Books 1-3 will be together, as well as 4-6 for a total of around 800-900 pages of zombie goodness.  The short story collection will hopefully be put into paperback as well, making a nice addition to your (and mine) zombie library.  Thanks again to everyone!
Look for Six Feet From Hell: Crisis on Amazon September 3rd!

P.S.
If you like where Crisis ends, then get comfy - the rest of the series will be set there as well...

Check out my editor Monique Happy doing an interview for www.zombiepop.net.  I have done an interview with them as well.  The site has done several notable zombie authors including Hugh Howey, D.J. Molles, Craig DiLouie, Sean Liebling, Mark Tufo, Johnathan Maberry, and others.  Check out the site and tell 'em what you think!  There are a ton of interviews, reviews, and other zombie-related goodness to carouse through, and don't forget that Six Feet From Hell: Crisis is slated for a Sept 3rd release, but I have been told by Monique that it might be done early...If so, then it will be released as soon as I have a chance to look over the edits.

It's late...time for bed...but its been a productive week for me...on a roll with Six Feet From Hell: Crisis, and will be starting work on the fifth book, Six Feet From Hell: Unity (working title).  Outline for books 4 and 5 are done and a rough idea of #6 is shaping up.  Working title for #6 is Six Feet From Hell: Exile, and it will be THE END of the series.  I may have some offshoot stories and the collection of short stories will be done and out sometime at the end of the year or first of next year, but the main story will be finished.  Good night all.

Name change for Six Feet From Hell: Civilization

Six Feet From Hell: Civilization will now be renamed Six Feet From Hell: Crisis.  Crisis really describes more of what is going on with the story and I think is a bit more streamlined as well.  I am also moving up the release date to 9-1-13, a month earlier than previously stated.  Stay tuned and I will post cover art, synopsis, and word counts as it draws closer to September.  Have a good one!

Update for the month of May!  Six Feet From Hell: Civilization is coming along nicely (see word count) as is Lost Between.  I will also be doing a short story for Jackie Chin and Zombiepalooza Radio for an anthology tentatively titled Dead Frequencies.  The proceeds from the anthology will go to a veteran's group that has yet to be determined, but it will all go to charity.  I look forward to and am proud to do this for all my military brothers and sisters.

I took a vacation earlier this month to the Outer Banks (OBX) of North Carolina and I actually visited Fort Raleigh and the Lost Colony of Roanoke Island.  I have some great insight from there and cannot wait to add their spot into the story for Lost Between, as they will play a significant role.  I will be giving my insight on what happened to them (fictional, of course) and adding them into the story soon.  Until next time, have a great day!
